Elizabeth (Libby) Lee Sage Jennings Busteed, 55, of 523 Jackson Avenue, Pulaski, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at her home.

Born September 25, 1951 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of Frances Ruth Vaughan Sage and the late James “Jack” Montriville Sage.

She was a lifetime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church where she was also the choir director. Libby was a longtime employee of Pulaski Community Hospital, where she started the Birthing Center and most recently volunteered with the Free Clinic of Pulaski County.

Surviving are her husband, Bryan Terry Busteed, Pulaski; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Amy Jennings, Charlottesville, Va., Jeremy and Brandi Jennings, Pulaski; grandchildren, Nathan Jennings, Meredith Jennings , Andrew Jennings; mother, Frances Ruth Vaughan Sage, Pulaski; sister, Margaret and husband Mike Guy, Marion, Va.; brother, Stephen and wife Vickie Sage, Rural Retreat, Va.; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Pulaski with the Rev. Judy Yonce officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski. Visit www.bower funeralhome.com to send online condolences.
