Otis Clyde Burton, 84, of Pulaski, died Saturday morning, May 19, 2012, in Radford Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 7, 1927 in Pulaski to the late Pearl Viola Richards Burton and James Clyde Burton.

Otis was a retired employee in the Maintenance Department at Pulaski Furniture Corp., and was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Prater Mitchell Burton, and a sister, Lois Burton Sutphin. He is survived by a brother, Thomas L. Burton and his wife, Betty, of Berlin, Md.; two stepdaughters, Phyllis Castle and and her husband, Eugene, of Dublin and Carol Parker and her husband, Randy, of Radford; one stepson, Robert Mitchell and his wife, Barbara, of Tazewell; along with eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens where V.F.W. Post 1184 will conduct military honors. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from noon until the 2 p.m. service time.
