Burton, Nannetta

Nannetta Burton, age 60 of Pulaski died Monday evening August 20, 2007 at Pulaski Community Hospital following a long illness.

She was born April 11, 1947 in Giles County and was the daughter of the late Lois Carr Burton and Junior Lester Burton. She was a retired self employed bookkeeper having kept records for many individuals and business in Pulaski County, and was an active member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Michael Burton. She is survived by two sons: Mark A. Burton and Ezra Dean Burton both of Pulaski: a brother; Jonathan Burton of Christiansburg: a sister; Thelma Tuckwell of Narrows. Also survived by four grandchilden.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 23, 2007 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church corner of Fifth Street, N.W. and Washington Avenue in Pulaski with the Rev. Terrie L. Sternberg officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
