Burton, Christine Horton
Christine Virginia Horton Burton, 66, of Pearisburg, VA, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Heritage Hall, Rich Creek. She was born July 15, 1954 in Hiwassee, VA, the daughter of the late Jethro Acey & Vonie Odell Horton.
She enjoyed taking care of people. She was a CNA and had worked at Riverview Nursing Home for 20+ years. She was a hard worker. She enjoyed flower gardening and loved her pet dogs. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and she will be greatly missed by those that loved her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her soul mate, Mackie Simpson, her sister, Jerri McDonald and her great-granddaughter, Sophie.
Left to cherish her memory are her son & daughter-in-law, Bucky & Leaetta Burton; her daughter & son-in-law, Christy & Joe Frame; her grandchildren, Katlyn Burton, Mariah & Chris Andrade, Karina Hughes and Christopher Anderson; a great-granddaughter, Sophia Andrade; a brother, Jethro Horton and a sister, Belle Shockley.
Per her wishes, she has been cremated. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
