Burton, Carolyn Sadler

Carolyn Ann Sadler Burton, 62, of Washington Square in Pulaski, VA, departed this life Monday, September 10, 2018 in the loving care of her family at her home. Born in Pearisburg on May 30, 1956 she was a daughter of the late Paul Caudill and Margaret Gray Farewell Sadler.

She was a beloved homemaker and mother and was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry Sadler, and granddaughter Sally Rose Worrell. Carolyn was “Granny” to everyone who ever came into her life. Her nurturing ways and down to earth personality would make even a stranger feel right at home.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Larry Jr. Burton and Abby of Draper; her daughters Susan Marie and Stan Baldwin of Pulaski, and Cathy Ann and John Wesley Worrell of Richmond, VA.; her brother Joey Sadler (Debbie) of Pembroke; her sister Debbie Anderson of Pulaski; her grandchildren Jason, Monique, Malakai, Joseph, Thomas, Terra, Jennifer, Josie, Christopher, Michael, Jonah, Cory, and Hailey; her great-grandchildren Hailie, Jason, Ketrah, and Thomas.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 pm in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with Pastor Gary Poff officiating. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St. Pembroke, VA two hours before the services.
