Burress, Margaret Jane

Margaret Jane Quesenberry Burress, 81, of Dublin passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at the home of her son in Concord, North Carolina.

Born July 31, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late P.W.(Paul) Quesenberry and Mary Louise Bell Quesenberry Henley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jacqueline (Jackie) Lynn Burress; one sister, Louise Q. Miller and one brother, Trubie E. (Sonny) Quesenberry. She was a manager of the Hop-In in Dublin for many years and retired from Getty Corporation.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Roger D. and Crystal Burress of Concord, N.C.; son, Julian B. Burress, Jr. of Dublin; daughter, Diana Robinson of Columbia, S.C.; two grandchildren, Kevin Robinson and Katherine Robinson; brother, Tracy H. Quesenberry of Dublin; several nieces, nephews, cousins, stepbrothers, stepsisters and many close friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 2 p.m., at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Tolley Hurst officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.
