Roger Wayne (Red) Burleson, 57, of Pembroke, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Terry Thomas; son, Roger Wayne Burleson II; two sisters, Sonia Hodge, Sissy Moore; three brothers, Peanut Burleson, Russell Burleson, David Burleson; two grandchildren, Seth Burleson and Selena Thomas. The family will receive friends Friday, October 7, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Bond and the Rev. John Tibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Burleson Family Cemetery in Pembroke. The Burleson family is being served by DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
