Burleson, Harley Rosevelt

Harley Rosevelt Burleson, 61, of New Zion Road, Pembroke, departed this life at his home Tuesday morning, December 22, 2015 in the loving care of his family and hospice. Born in Radford on June 13, 1954, he was a son of the late Bill Lloyd and Mary McPeak Burleson. Before his disability he had been employed at the Virginia Tech Quarry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Gladys Burleson, his brothers Billy and Roger Burleson, and his grandson Harley Ratcliffe.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Joan Lawrence Burleson; his sons Michael Lloyd Burleson, Rockey Dewayne Burleson and Vickie Simpkins, and Daniel Lee and Courtney Burleson all of Pembroke; his daughter Angela Lou Burleson and Mike Reynolds of Pembroke; his grandchildren Samantha Ratcliffe, Tiffney Dunbar, Deven Reynolds, Kaylie Reynolds, and Danielle Burleson; his great-grand son Taylor Ratcliffe; his brothers David Burleson of Pembroke and Russell Burleson of Radford; his sisters Cissy Moore and Sonia Hodge of Radford.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
