Burgis, Rebecca Mozelle

Rebecca Mozelle Burgis, age 83 of Pulaski passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at her home. Born January 11, 1933 in Rural Retreat she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Jones & Mae Musser Jones.

Her husband, Charles Ribble Burgis; grandson; Kenny Ray Tucker and sisters, Catherine Goodwin, Francis Taylor, Olivia Jones, Darlene Duncan, brothers; Walter and Ed Jones also preceded her in death. She attended Jordan’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Pulaski and she worked in the Pulaski Furniture veneer mill (Dublin) for over 20 years. She is survived by her Son.Charles (Teresa) Burgis – Dublin,

Daughter – Rebecca Diann Tucker – Covington,

Grandchildren – Penny Dunbar, Sherrie Clark, Terrie (Jonithan) Tucker Batten – All of Covington, C.J. Burgis (Breanne) – Dublin, Chris (Andrea) Hetherington – Pulaski.

Great Grandchildren –

Braylen Burgis, Brenton Burgis, Cheyanne Tucker, Jaden Batten, Kolby Anderson and Santana Anderson

Brothers – Franklin (Marlene) Jones – Pulaski Jim (Jean) Jones – Atkins Douglas (Joyce) Jones – Damascus

Several nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews and great great nieces/nephews

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM – Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Bower Funeral Home – Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Danny McGlothlin officiating.

Interment will follow at the Kimberlin Cemetery (Rural Retreat). The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
