Burcham, Dorothy and Clyde
Dorothy “Dottie” Lee Haden Burcham, 83, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 and her husband of 51 years, Clyde Arthur Burcham passed away Friday, January 12, 2018.
They were members of Grove United Methodist Church in Radford where Dorothy was active in United Methodist Women and Clyde in the United Methodist Men. Dorothy was also involved in Delta Kappa Gamma and Four by the Window, and Clyde was a member of local VFW Post #776. Mrs. Burcham was retired from Radford City Schools where she loved and taught many children. Clyde was a retired grocer and car salesman, and was a proud U. S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Odell and Mary Catherine Fulcher Haden; and her brother, Frank Wesley Haden.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Thomas and Ethel Frances Silva Burcham; brothers, Charles Lee, Garland and Phillip Ray Burcham; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Opal Burcham, Mary Edith and Rudy Edwards, and Juanita Geraldine and James Monroe.
Left to cherish their memory are their son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Arthur and Amanda Burcham of Woodbridge; and grandchildren, Megan Vianne Burcham and Luke Arthur Burcham. Other survivors include Dorothy’s brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard Ray and Carol Haden of Spring, Texas, Jack Wayne and Anita Haden of Collinsville, and Pat Haden of Harrisonburg; and a special niece, Kelley Marie Haden and Daniel Rountree of North Carolina; and great niece, Ella Marie Rountree. Surviving Clyde are his sister and brother-in-law, Bertha and Codell Jones of Salem; sister-in-law, Shirley Burcham of Pulaski; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Grove United Methodist Church in Radford. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Mark Kilbourne officiating.
Graveside services with full military honors for Clyde will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.

Joseph,
I enjoyed being friends of your parents for many years along with a lot of Grove members and Radfordians. They were always a delight to be around.
God bless you as you bid them farewell as they enter the Kingdom. You and your family were their pride and joy.
