Bundy, Garland Jay

Garland Jay Bundy, 77, of Pulaski, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at his home. He was born in Tazewell on March 17, 1935, and was the son of the late Jett Garland Bundy and Nannie Buchanan Bundy. He was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy Scott Bundy; and by a sister, Martha Witten.

Mr. Bundy was a member of the Thornspring United Methodist Church and was a farmer in Pulaski County for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Patsy Dean Bundy, Pulaski; daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Rodney Beville, Pulaski; son, Stephen J. Bundy, Pulaski; two grandchildren, Ethan Seville, Pulaski and Courtney Beville, Pulaski; and sister, Mary Ferrell, Radford.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, from the Thornspring United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Teresa Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visiting will be Saturday at the church where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice . Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
