Buckner, Jerry R.
Jerry R. Buckner, age 80, of Christiansburg, passed away on March 7, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 60 1/2 years, Freda Jean Buckner; daughter, Gina Arnold; son, Dale Buckner and wife, Renee; four grandsons; Trinity Heckman (Jessica), Brett Buckner (Jesse), Brock Buckner (Devon), Blake Buckner (Brooke); special great-grandson, Zander Heckman.
He will be greatly missed by his family and all his many special friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Reed, Rev. Jube Burk, and Rev. Connie Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
In lieu of flowers, the children have requested monetary gifts for their mother.
The family will receive friends from 5- 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.

I had the honor of knowing Brother Jerry and his lovely wife Jean for many years. Their shared Love for our Lord Jesus and their Love for their neighbor was easy to see. Brother Jerry always had a kind word and smile to share, he will be missed on this side of Heaven! Peace to his bride Jean and Family until we meet again! ❤
