Browning, Cynthia Broce

Cynthia Broce Browning, 92, of Blacksburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2012. She was born in Montgomery County on July 17, 1919, to the late John and Maddie Long Broce. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William G. Browning; a son, Billy Browning; one brother; and two grandchildren. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carlos and Wendy Browning, of Blacksburg; two daughters and son-in-law, Shirley and Jasper Davis, of Bland County, and Ruby Vallejo, of Christiansburg; brother and sister-in-law, Randolph and Nellie Broce, of Blacksburg; sister, Robertine Moore, of Oakland, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great- grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., SW, Blacksburg.
