Brown, Violet Sutphin

Violet Sutphin Brown, 92 of Willis, went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 12, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Brown; father, Cosley Sutphin and mother Annie Sutphin.

Violet was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who loved the Lord. She dedicated her life to serving God.

Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, Cecil & Judy Brown; daughters & sons-in-law, Linda & Donnie Turman, Merita & Harry Hylton, Shelby & Jonathan Goins; brother & sister-in-law Lonnie & Hazel Sutphin; sister, Elvia Moles; Ten grandchildren, Arlen, Clifford, Karen, Cecil Wayne, Sherry, Jenny, David, Amy, Jeffrey, Matthew; 21 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at Maberry Funeral Home with Pastor Cecil Wayne Brown and Pastor Jonathan Goins officiating with burial following in the Alderman Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Maberry Funeral Home.
