Brown, U.L. “Buddy”

U.L. “Buddy” Brown, 89 of Willis, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Evelyn Brown; two brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Violet Brown; son & daughter-in-law, Cecil & Judy Brown; daughters & sons-in-law, Linda & Donnie Turman, Merita & Harry Hylton, Shelby & Jonathan Goins; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Keith. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Goins and Rev. Cecil Wayne Brown officiating. Interment to follow in the Alderman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the funeral home.
