Brown, Sue Lynne

Sue Lynne Brown, age 67, of Pearisburg, Va. died surrounded by friends and family at Lewis-Gale Hospital-Montgomery in Blacksburg, Va. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Sue was born in Wellsboro, Pa. to Margie June Osgood Jacobs on February 13, 1947. She is preceded in death by her mother, Margie. Sue furthered her education by earning a Bachelor of Science from Bluefield State College in 1999.

Sue is survived by her partner, James Burton, of Pearisburg, stepfather, Robert Jacobs, of Coudersport, Pa., son, D. Michael Traub and his wife Sandra Traub, of Austin, Tx., daughter, Stormi Lynne Goetzke and her husband Bryan Goetzke of New Berlin, Wi., adoptive daughter, Sharla Ott, of Roanoke, siblings, James Holleran of Wellsboro, Pa., Patti Stenlund of Apple Valley, Mn., and Dan Holleran of Coudersport, Pa., grandchildren, Ocean Lynne Goetzke and Canyon Moehrlin Goetzke.

Memorial services will be conducted at McCoy Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Sunday October 26, 2014 in Blacksburg, Va. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Society and/or the Humane Society in her name. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
