James Keith Brown, age 77 of Pulaski was welcomed into the arms of his loving Savior after a long battle with Cancer, Friday, November 30, 2012 at Highland Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born September 23, 1935 in Pulaski County, he was the son of then late Glenn G. Brown and Mattie Frazier Brown. A brother, Glenn Brown, Jr., father –in-law and mother-in-law, James and Nellie Bayse Neese also preceded him in death.

Mr. Brown was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He graduated from the former Jackson Memorial High School in 1954, located in Wythe County. He was a Maintenance supervisor for Magnox for 32 years and the Maintenance director for the Pulaski Retirement Center for 12 years.

Surviving- His loving wife of 57 years- Betty Neese Brown-Pulaski. Son- David Keith Brown & wife-Josie-Ft Collins, CO., Daughters & Sons-in-law- Teresa Brown Hoge & John Hoge-Pulaski, Lisa Brown Sullivan & Colonel Ken Sullivan-Walkersville, MD., Sharon Brown Webb & Rex Webb-Pulaski, Nine Grandchildren- Keith Brown, Josh Brown, Jeffrey Hoge, Kari Hoge O’Briant, Bradley Webb & Mallory Webb, Ryan, Cody & Shea Sullivan. Seven Great Grandchildren- Brother & Sister-in-law- Douglas Lee Brown & Barbara Brown-Rochester, NY. Sisters & Brothers-in law- Martha Brown Wilson & Jeff Wilson – Columbia, SC., Marie Brown Testerman & R. L. Testerman-Pulaski.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., December 2, 2012 at Bower Funeral Home,Pulaski. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 3, 2012 at Valley Harvest Ministries, Dublin with Pastor Steve Willis and Pastor Perry Slaughter officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin with the Pulaski VFW Post # 1184 conducting military honors.

Flowers will be appreciated; however, the family suggests memorials, in his memory, may be sent to Valley Harvest Ministries Thailand Missions Fund, or the American Cancer Society.
