Brown, Deborah Scott

Deborah Sue Brown, 71 of Hampton, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Dexter Agnew; son, Michael Dean Agnew; father, Henry Bernard Scott; mother, Mary Astor Hawks Scott; and brothers, Joel Dean Scott and Richard Wayne Scott.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Allen Agnew; daughter, Mary Sue Agnew; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; partner for life, David Skorupsky; siblings, Carol Elaine Haithcock, Phyllis Ann Harris (Glenn), Tommy Bernard Scott (Judy), Sandy Jean Littreal (Clark), Ronnie Dale Scott (Wanda), Gary Harmon Scott (Frances), Timmy Kevin Scott, and Tammy Lynn Hall (Lenny); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deborah was loved by so many not listed here.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
