Lawrence H. Broughman, 79, of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011. He was born May 27, 1931, and he celebrated his 80th birthday in heaven with his Savior. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret Garman Broughman; daughter, Deborah Ferris; son, Lawrence D. Broughman; granddaughter and husband, Amanda and Chad Dulaney; grandson, Brandon Broughman; a very special great-grandson, Blake Dulaney; sister, Jean and her husband, Junior Garman; and sister, Nellie Perry; a special niece and her husband, Mary Ellen and Roger Alley; also numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 30, 2011, at Lotz Salem Chapel with Pastor Dusty Etter and Pastor Kenneth Wells officiating.
