Gary Alan (Gambler) Brooks, 60, of Shawsville, Va., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. He was born August 3, 1950, in Middlesboro, Ky. to the late Earl and Ora Ayers Brooks. He made his life’s living as a truck driver for over 35 years. He is survived by his son, Brandon Brooks; brother, Dennis Brooks and wife, Gayle; sisters, Dr. Brenda Finley and husband, Don, and Cindy Webb and husband, David; former wife, Pam Brooks; his loving companion, “C.J.”; and special friends, Cindy Morgan, Angie, Courtney, and Leslie.
