Brookman, Eva Hughett

Eva Mae Hughett Brookman, age 87, of Belspring Road passed away for her Heavenly Home, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at her home. She was born in Pulaski Co., Virginia on February 3, 1936, to the late Azariah Haven and Lillian Hope Montgomery Hughett.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thomas Brookman, daughter, Cheryl Gay Brookman, sisters, Naomi H. Edwards, Dallas Giles, and brother, Zebedee Hughett.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Brookman Elliott, and Jeannie Brookman; sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Kristin Brookman, Steve Brookman and Amber Branscome; sister-in-law, Barbara Branscome, and husband Don; grandchildren, Haley Brookman, Ethan Brookman, Tyler Vaughn, Tyler Brookman, and Ethan Branscome; nephew, Timothy Hughett; nieces, Becky Hamblin, Patricia Hope Webb, and two very special nieces, Brenda G. Gilbert, Missy Gallaher Pannell, and husband, Wayne; numerous other family members.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM before the service.
