John Earl (James) Brogan Jr., 82, of Radford passed away Monday, October 10, 2011. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, John and Emma Brogan; and a sister, Mary Tankersley. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shelby Brogan; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Richard Green, of Radford; sons, Randy W. Brogan, of Radford, and Ricky Brogan, of Greenville, Tenn.; sisters and brother-in-law, Shelby and Bill Vaught, of Rich Creek, Madeline Lambert, of Pearisburg, and Jean Staton, of Radford; brother and sister- in-law, Rabon and Jane Brogan, of Troutville; three grandchildren, Alisha Brogan, of Greenville, Tenn., Jeremy McPeak, of Christiansburg, and Keith Brogan, of Radford; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Poston officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tourette Foundation.
