Daniel Monroe Britt, 61, of Houston, Texas formerly of Christiansburg , passed away February 6, 2009. Preceded in death by his father, Allen Britt and brother, Wayne Britt. Survivors include wife, Sharold Britt; mother, Betty Britt; son, Brad Britt; daughters, Lisa Dufrene and Heather Hudkins; grandchildren, Cameron and Mia Hudkins; sister, Kathy Britt; sister-in-law, Joan Britt; niece, Kim Dorton; nephews, Adam and Allen Britt. Memorial on February 10, 2009 at his home from 3 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be sent to the American Heart Association at www.donateamericanheart.org
