Dorothy Cunningham Mullins Brinkley, 54, of Haskins Street, Narrows, Virginia, died peacefully Friday morning, May 2, 2008 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Dorothy was a graduate of Athens High School in 1972. She was an employee for the Celanese Corporation in Narrows, Virginia, as a Baling operator.

She is survived by her mother, Pauline S. Cunningham, of Speedway; her husband, Curtis Brinkley, of Peterstown, W.Va.; a son, Derek Mullins and his wife, Stacy, of Narrows and nine brothers and sisters.

A service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory, on the Athens Road in Princeton, W.Va., with Pastor Tommy Mounts. Burial will follow in the Oakvale Cemetery, Oakvale.
