Brillhart, Sylvia Echols
Sylvia Echols Brillhart, age 75 of Blacksburg, passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. She was born in Craig County, Va. on December 12, 1938 to the late Estial Earl Echols, Sr. and Mary M. Echols and was also preceded in death by her husband Ralph Houston Brillhart, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diana (Punkin) and Mitchell Albert, of McCoy; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randell (Beaver) and Maleta Brillhart, Ralph Jr. (Buddy) and Donna Brillhart, all of Blacksburg; brother and sister-in-law, Earl (Cookie) and Fern Echols, of Newport; six grandchildren, Adam Albert, Amanda and Wes Osborne, Craig and Katie Brillhart, Jessie Brillhart, Mckinley Brillhart and fiancee Justine Streitenberger, Zachary Brillhart and fiancee Amber Slusser; six great-grandchildren, Wyatt Whittaker, Waylon Whittaker, Lexie Brillhart, McKenzie Brillhart, Kirsten Brillhart, and Annabella Osborne; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marshall and Mary Margaret Brillhart, of Roanoke, Carl Brillhart and Jean Thompson, Leon (Pete) and Lula Brillhart, of Newport; special niece Dawn Maxey; special nephews, Lloyd and Marilyn Echols, Timmy and Sally Shupe; special friends, Melissa Adams-Hicks, of Pearisburg, Ralph and Kathy Johnston, of McCoy; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Blacksburg Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with the Rev. Gary McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in the Level Green Christian Church Cemetery Craig, Co.,Va.
The family would like thank the staff at Lewis Gale Hospital- Montgomery, Dr. Harry McCoy Office and the staff at Kroontje Health Care Center for their care.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Drive SW., Blacksburg.
