Daniel Lee Brigner, 63, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend succumbed after a long and devastating fight with lymphoma on Friday, August 25, 2006 at his home.

Daniel was a kind, exceptionally patient and loving person. He had a gift for building and creating almost anything. He truly loved helping others and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved gardening and spending time in nature. He had a dental laboratory in his home and took satisfaction in a job well done. He loved his family so very much and reflected the love of God in his life, he will be missed so very much. He was a U.S. Army Veteran in operation white coats.

He was born September 11, 1942 at home in Circleville, OH and was the son of Annabelle Brigner of New Market, VA and the late Clarence Brigner. In addition to his mother, survivors include, his wife, Barbara Hardiman Brigner, his mother-in-law, Dorothy Hardiman of Peterstown, WV; three sons, Bryan Brigner and wife Amanda of Tampa, FL; Dennis Haslam and wife Mary of Keene, TX; and Jonathan Brigner and wife Arianne of Lynchburg, VA, one daughter, Karen Stegall and husband Keith of Mansfield, TX. Six grandchildren, Ryan and Stephanie McClure; Dylan and Hannah Stegall, and Abigail and Allison Haslam. Two brothers, Robert Brigner and wife Sherry of Columbus, OH; Richard Brigner and wife Patricia of Colonial Beach, VA. Three sisters, Suzanne Neibauer and husband Chris of Fredericksburg, VA; Cynthia Walls and husband Lonnie of Dahlgren, VA; Annette Allen and husband Charles of New Market, VA; one sister-in-law, Beverly Jones and husband Daniel of Indianapolis, IN, thirteen nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, WV with Dennis Haslam and Daniel Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery in Princeton, WV. Friends may call from 7:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the funeral home.
