Brightwell, Eunice Collins

Eunice Collins Brightwell, 90, of Radford, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.Eunice was born on March 13, 1925 to the late Dewey and Naomi Collins. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Herbert “Herb” Brightwell; her son, Michael “Mike” Brightwell; her sisters, Louise Smith and Sue King; and her brother, Leonard “Poke” Collins.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robin (Katie) Brightwell, Terry Lee “Richard” Brightwell, and Larry (Sharon) Brightwell; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday April 17, 2015 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford, VA with funeral services to follow directly after with the Reverend Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, VA.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested those desiring make contributions to help offset the cost of the funeral (DeVilbiss Funeral Home, PO Box 868, Radford, VA 24121).
