Breedlove, Donald Wayne
Donald Wayne Breedlove “Gone Fishin’”, 62, May 28th 1955-April 13th 2018, Preceded in death by his parents Walden and Ruth Breedlove.
Survived by wife, Holly, and two daughters Megan (Tim), and Jordan, and granddaughter Journey, grandson Landon, sister Doris, brother Monroe (Kathy), nieces and nephews Brian, Mark (Cindy), Clay (Sue), Tracey, Randolph (Donna), Scott (Leslie), many great-nieces and nephews, and friends.
Don was a faithful member of Jordan’s Chapel UMC, an Exhausted Rooster of the JC’s Pulaski chapter, coached for 26 years for the Pulaski recreation department, was an active 4-H leader, a Big Brother, served on many mission trips, and employed at Radford University.
Don was also instrumental in helping with the Boy Scouts and Webelos. He enjoyed fishing, reading, wood-working, VT football, adventures with his granddaughter, and spending time with his family. He touched many lives and had a positive effect on many people in the Pulaski area. His legacy will live on through his family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Sunday April 15th 6-8pm, and a celebration of life will be held on Monday April 16th at 11am. Both events will be held at Jordan’s Chapel UMC. Burial will follow at Thornspring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jordan’s Chapel UMC Kids of the Kingdom.

I am so sorry to read of Donnie’s passing. He was a great guy and great friend. Thoughts and prayers go to the family and friends. May you find comfort and peace in the arm of our Heavenly Father.

Holly, Monroe, Doris and families. So very sorry for your loss. Donnie was such a wonderful person. Always a smile and joy to be near. My heart is broken, for your time was way too short. Will pray for your peace and understanding
