Bratton, Reba Akers

Reba Alice Akers Bratton, age 86 of Pulaski passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 as the result of a vehicle accident. Born August 23, 1926 in Indian Valley (Floyd Co), she was the daughter of the late Garnet Akers and Audie Mae Taylor Akers. Her daughter, Lois Stephens, a granddaughter, Lisa Craig and son-in-law, Danny Riggs also preceded her in death.

Surviving- Husband- William Randolph “Buck” Bratton-Pulaski Children- Betty Jo Riggs- Dublin, William Ray Bratton & Vickie Blankenship-Dublin, Linda Davis and husband, Dave- S.C. Grandchildren- Melissa McGinnis VanHorn-Dublin, Ashley Bratton-Draper, Tina & Ronnie Turpin- Pulaski, Terry Stephens- Dublin, Bryan Bailey-Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home.
