Brown Malcom Bratton, 94, of Radford, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015. He was a member of the Radford Wesleyan Church and retired truck driver with Meadow Gold Creamery and farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie J. and Willie S. Roop Bratton, daughter, Judith B. Dobbins, granddaughter, Jaime W. Butler and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Hazel Irene Boyd Bratton; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Doris Bratton of Radford; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda King of Wytheville, Deborah and William “Mack” McCormick of Forest, and Cynthia and Thomas Paredes of Christiansburg; son-in-law, Jackie Dobbins of Christiansburg; brother, Junior Bratton of Churchville; sisters, Stella Wright of Pulaski, and Coleen Lucion and Bonnie Whisman, both of Dublin; 8 grandchildren, Christie D. Matte, Todd J. Dobbins, Kevin W. Butler, Andrea B. Snell, Ashley B. Winge, Morgan B. McCormick, Danielle N. Paredes and Hannah M. Paredes; 7 great grandchildren, Austin and Carson Matte, Easton and Archer Dobbins, Tyler Walke and Devin and Kyle Snell; 1 great great grandchild, Wyatt Primm; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Gale Janofski and Pastor Barry VanSteenburg officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
