Bradley, Samuel Mason

Samuel Mason Bradley, 76, of College St. in Narrows, departed this life Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his home in the loving care of his family and hospice. Born in Rich Creek on September 11, 1937, he was a son of the late Samuel Lee and Amy Edith Gore Bradley. He was a 1957 graduate of Narrows High School and had been employed as a professional printer and had been self-employed. He had confessed his faith in Christ as a member of Woodland Street Baptist Church in Narrows.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Jean Minor Bradley; his daughters and sons-in-law Amy Beth and Danny Bradley of Cashmere, WV, Cindy and Jim Thompson of Newport, Beverly and Dale Scott of Narrows, Kathy and Rocky Lucas of Pearisburg, Nancy and Dale Reynolds of Pearisburg; his eleven grandchildren; his ten great-grandchildren; and his sister Carol Thompson of Narrows.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 7:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Bryan Pruett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Carilion Hospice.
