Bradley, Mae Catherine

Mae Catherine Bradley, 72, of Lindside, WV, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, VA. Born April 20, 1947, at Lindside, WV, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Virginia Terry McGhee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Bradley.

Catherine was a wonderful homemaker who loved to sew and quilt. She loved raising a garden, and cooking and canning the products of her labor. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, in Rich Creek, VA, and attended the Spruce Run Church of the Brethren in Lindside, WV.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Bradley Lane and husband Ralph of Christiansburg, VA; one son, Randolph Scott Bradley and wife Cheryl of Lindside, WV; five sisters, Margaret Pollard of Lindside, WV, Barbara Miller and husband Leroy of Ballard, WV, Alma Ball and husband Tommy of Peterstown, WV, Linda Stables and husband Timmy of Narrows, VA, and Connie Dunbar and husband Ed of Union, WV; three brothers, Charles McGhee and wife Debbie of Peterstown, WV, Darrell McGhee of Lindside, WV, and Gene McGhee and wife Becky of Pearisburg, VA; five grandchildren, Austin, Jonathan, and Kevin Bradley, and Luke and Lauren Lane; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Rodger Boothe officiating. Burial will follow at the Bradley Cemetery in Lindside, WV. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the funeral home. Tommy Ball, Grayson Grose, Leroy Miller, Timmy Stables, Brandon McGhee, and Ed Dunbar will serve as pallbearers.
