Bradley, Donnie D.

Donnie D. Bradley, age 66, of Rich Creek, VA, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at English Meadows in Rich Creek, VA. Born October 14, 1951, he was the son of Zellwood Bailey Bradley of Pearisburg, VA, and the late James “Nook” Bradley.

Donnie was the co-owner of Mutts in Rich Creek, a member of the Rich Creek First United Methodist Church, and a member of John Dove Lodge #78 A.F. & A.M.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Bailey; paternal grandparents, Martin and Ruth Bradley; and his mother and father-in-law, Cunningham and Betty Mutter.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Sue Bradley; Rick Green, who was like a son, and his wife, Tamera, of Rich Creek, VA; one brother, Skipper Bradley of Pearisburg, VA; three sisters, his twin, Connie Spicer and husband Jetty of Carrollton, VA, Ruth Ann Moore and husband David of Pearisburg, VA, and Teena Johnson and husband Chris of Staffordsville, VA; uncle Robert Mullins and wife Connie of Rich Creek, VA; special uncle Andrew Mutter of Bozoo, WV; two special aunts, Ruby Mutter and Frances Allen, both of Peterstown, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Buddy Butler and Pastor Rick Green officiating. Burial will follow at Peterstown Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA. Fred Woodbury, Dale Smith, Marcus Mutter, Kenny Allen, David Humphrey, and Dickie Allen will serve as pallbearers. Rich Creek First United Methodist Men will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Rich Creek First United Methodist Church at 108 Old Virginia Ave, Rich Creek, VA, 24147.
