Bradley, Buford Mason

Buford Mason Bradley, 84, of Happy Hollow Road, Newport, Va., departed this life at his home during the past weekend. Born in Craig County, on December 22, 1926, he was a son of the late Johnny Paris and Glenna Mae Woods Bradley. He was retired from VPI in Blacksburg and was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Hudson Bradley.

He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Frances and Frank Hutchison, of Salem, Hazel Darlene and William Bowes, of Chesapeake, and Betty Ann and Richard Thomas, of Falls Branch, Tenn.; his step daughters and husbands, Bunny and Billy Clifton, of Bassett and Jackie and Joe Henry, of Tullahoma, Tenn.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 7, 2011, at 2 p.m. in Level Green Christian Church in Craig County with Pastor Mike Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church two hours before the services.
