Boyer, Luther Fredrick

Luther Fredrick Boyer, age 87 of Dublin passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Pulaski Health & Rehab Center. Born November 3, 1924 he was the son of the late Greek & Helen Tomlinson Boyer.

He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. He was retired from RAAP with 28 years of service.

He is survived by his Wife- Pauline Williams Boyer – Dublin, Daughters & Sons-in-law- Brenda & Ronnie Gravley – Fries, VA., Robin & Brian Taylor – Beckley, WV. Grandchildren- Bryan and Brett Gravley & Gene Gravley and Brittany Bailey Uncle- Herbert Tomlinson – Fries, VA.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM, April 18, 2012 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Kathie Wilson-Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from Wednesday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski. Interment will follow Thursday at 11:00 AM at Monta Vista Gardens, Galax, Virginia with the Hillsville Grover King Post # 1115 conducting military honors at the graveside.
