In recent years, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a dedicated member of the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club of McDowell County. Together with Lisa, he was able to realize his life-long dream of owning a Harley Davidson and the two of them enjoyed time together riding.  Over his life, he was a member of different southern rock and country music bands.  He loved to sing, dance, and play music.  Rick was a people person and never met a stranger.  He loved life and loved with his whole heart.  He was a man who gave to anyone in need, whether he had it or not.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
