Boyd, Bobby C.

Bobby C. Boyd of Recluse, Wyo., and formerly of Floyd, Va., died on Friday, April 18, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Page Boyd, on August 2, 2007. He was born in Willis, Va., on November 11, 1942, to the late Clovis and Roxie (Gallimore) Boyd.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Hanson and her husband, Robert, of Richmond, Va.; his sister, Belva Jean Nunn and her husband, John, of Roanoke, Va.; his brother, Curbie Boyd and his wife, Joan, of Floyd, Va.; and two grandchildren, Alexander Boyd Hanson and Samantha Leigh Hanson. He leaves behind a host of family and good friends from Virginia to Wyoming to cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren in Floyd, Va., at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008, followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the charity of your choice.
