Bowman, Glenn Ervin

Glenn Ervin Bowman, 94, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at his home. Born in Carroll County on August 2, 1919, he was the son of the late W. Erb Bowman and Jemima Mae Beasley Bowman.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cleave Parnell Bowman; sisters and brothers; granddaughter, Babette Taylor; and great-grandson, Clay Taylor. He was retired from R.A.A.P.

Surviving are his daughter and her husband, Linda and Hank Lane; son and his wife, Ronald and Danita Bowman; sisters, Nan Sizemore and Ethleen Robinson; grandchildren, Aaron Taylor, Laurie Miner, Bradley Bowman and Eric Bowman; stepgrandchildren, Travis and Jared Lane; and great- grandchildren, Trey Semones, Alicia French, Caylee Taylor and Elliott Miner.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday evening, August 17, 2013, from the Refreshing Center at the Bobwhite Blvd. Church of God with the Pastor Jerry Collins officiating. The family will greet friends from 5:30 p.m. until the service hour at the church. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2013, from the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with VFW Post 1184 conducting Graveside Rites.
