Bowman, Edith Alderman

Edith Alderman Bowman, 89, of Radford, Va. passed away Friday September 23, 2016.She was born September 11, 1927 to the late Emmett Thomas and Grace Harris Alderman.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma Humphries and Ethelyne Hall; and her nephews, Ron Humphries, Nicky Hall, and Dale Hall.

She is survived by her loving husband, Woodrow Bowman; her nephew, Robin (Robin) Hall; her great-nieces, Kim (Jared) Russell and Whitney (Nathan) Roseberry; her great-nephew, Derek Hall; and a very special great-great-nephew, Ethan Russell.

She was a long time employee of Kroger and after her retirement, loved spending time with her family.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 held at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, Va. with Dr. Paul Lane officiating.

DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford is in charge of arrangements.
