Bower, Guy Alva

Guy Alva Bower, 89, of Floyd, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving is son and spouse, Rodger and Ann Bower, of Floyd; four grandchildren, Jennifer Bower, Ashley Bower, Raef King, and Amada Kvammen; several nieces, and nephews; and special neighbors, Marvin and Minnie West.

Funeral 2 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2009, at Wood Funeral Home with the Rev. Elbert L. Naff officiating. Interment in Jacksonville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations toward funeral expenses will be appreciated. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home.
