Erma Gay Hager Bouldin, 55, of Pulaski, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at Friendship Health Center in Roanoke. She was born in Giles County on March 26, 1952 and was the daughter of the late Carless Lee and Emma Clarice Buchanan Hager.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rowena Clifton and a nephew, Matthew Allen Clifton. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Erma cared deeply for her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, William Harold Bouldin; two daughters, Stephanie Michelle Collins and husband, John H. Collins, Jr. and Alicia Irene Thornton and husband, William Raymond Thornton, all of Pulaski; one son, Sherman Marques Bouldin of Radford; five grandchildren, Michael Bouldin, Kimberley Thornton, Johnathan Collins, Emma Thornton, and Cindy Thornton, all of Pulaski; a stepmother, Donna Rowena (Polly) Hager of Narrows; one brother, Johnny Hager and wife Kathy of Tazewell; one sister, Darlene H. Gusler and husband, John of Pembroke; a brother-in-law, Tracey Clifton of Narrows; a special nephew, Raymond Lee Gusler of Pembroke, and a special niece, Katy Balarzs of Narrows, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins, including Angie, Charlie, Chris, Melanie, Logan, Cody and Jerry and one great nephew, Huntar.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2007, at 1 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Narrows with the Rev. Wayne Monroe officiating. Burial will follow in the Shrader Cemetery in the Wolf Creek section of Bland County. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
