Walter Lewis Bostwick, 61, of Narrows, VA, went to be with the Lord he served as spokesman for on Friday, March 8, 2019. He was born in Giles County on July 11, 1957, the son of the late Harold “Bud” & Helen Cash Bostwick.

He loved Jesus Christ and attended Pearisburg Church of God. He had a heart for the broken and forgotten and was a supporter of the “Taking it to the Streets” ministry. He had a helping spirit and would help anyone who asked. He would talk to anyone and enjoyed spreading the word of the Lord. He lived for his grandbabies.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie, “Walkie” and George.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 16 years, Anna Spangler Bostwick; his children, Amanda Snidow, Jessica (Greg) Parsell, Samantha (JR) Edwards, Josh Davis & fiancée Kathy, Summer (Joseph) Sturgis, Sunshine Davis and Miranda Davis; his grandchildren, Bria Snidow, Ally Snidow, Seth Snidow, Keaton Snidow, Julian Snidow, Christopher Snidow, Michael Snidow, Zachary Parsell, Caitlyn Parsell, Kaitlyn Davis, Haley Davis, Anna Joy Sturgis, Colleen Sturgis, Sarah-Helen Sturgis, Chris Parcell, Jacob Edwards, Devon Edwards, Grace Edwards, Emma Edwards and Ty Edwards; one sister, Angela Weatherly; one brother, Peter (Shelby) French; special cousin, Ronald Cash; and several nieces and nephews, too many to list.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Doug Duncan and Bro. Albert Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Staffordsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P. M. until service time, 3:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Lewis’ honor to “Taking it to the Streets” Ministry, 223 N. Washington Ave., Pulaski, VA, 24301.
