Borman, John Robert

John Robert Borman, age 72, of Christiansburg died, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at his home. He was born in St. Charles, IL, on August 23, 1950, to the late Robert Charles and Phyllis Bragg Borman.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam Conflict. John enjoyed working at the Lyric Theatre for many years. John was a member of Leon and McCoy VFW Post 5311.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Smith Borman, Sons, Danny Maxey, Jr. and wife, Jeannie, Robert Manfred Borman; grandchildren, Emmy, and Ally; great-grandchildren, Noah, Cade, and Sky; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Bob Koelman, Robin and Takashi Haruna; Aunt, Coanne Johnson; and several other relatives. Special furry companions, Cooper, Sweetie Pie, and Gibbs.
