Katherine Williams Booth, 91 of Narrows went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 1st, 2015. She was born Anna Katherine Williams to the late George Kemper and Ercel Sykes Williams on November 1st, 1923.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Landon B. “Red” Booth; a son, Joel W. Booth; one brother, Ralph Williams; and three sisters, Helen Cuffell, Laura Alice Williams, and Madeline Hall.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving dear children, Linda Eppes and husband Keith of Orange Park, Florida, Phillip Booth and wife Pamela of Southaven, Mississippi, and Wayne Booth and wife Vassi of Midlothian, Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Connie Booth of Glen Allen, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Michael Walker of Jacksonville, Florida, Ryan Booth and wife Tina of Wheaton, Illinois, Melissa Bitsky and husband Joe of Plainfield, Illinois, Lori Mayer and husband Nathan of Frisco, Texas, Jennifer Buchanan and husband David of Glen Allen, Kimberly Booth of Glen Allen, Landon J. Booth of Virginia Beach, Landon B. Booth of Midlothian; 13 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Sherman Williams and wife Jeanette, Thurman Williams and wife Dorothy, George Williams and wife Kathy; several nieces and nephews.

Katherine, a longtime active member of First Baptist Church of Narrows, taught Sunday School, served as WMU Director, Assistant Drama Leader, Clerk, and Trustee of the Highlands Baptist Association. She was very active in PINN (Pride in Narrows Now), the Narrows Art Gallery, and the Red Hat Society. Katherine retired from First Virginia Bank-Southwest as Vice-President and Branch Manager of the Pembroke office.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 6th, 2015 at 2 PM at First Baptist Church in Narrows with Rev. Jerry Sawyers officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church Thursday from 12 noon until just prior to the service.
