Booth, Dakotah Chase

Dakotah Chase Booth, of Christiansburg, tragically died in an automobile accident October 30, 2015. He was the beloved son of David and Tammy Booth of Christiansburg. Dakotah was preceded in death by his grandfather whom he loved dearly and helped care for, Darrell W. Harrison.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, brothers, Talon and Caiden Booth; sisters, Desiraé Booth (Christiansburg), Jenna and Jessi Rhodes (Floyd); grandparents, Evelyn R. Harrison “Nana” (Riner), Mary Booth “Granny Ellen”; Charles and Frances Yopp (Shawsville); other parent, Joey Rhodes (Shawsville); aunts and uncles, Benji and Debbie Bishop (Riner), Bryan Harrison (Florida), Cindy Angle, Larry and Melanie Harvey, Wes and Amy Yopp, Angie Phoenix (all of Shawsville); cousins, Jamie Jamison (Vinton); Logan Bishop (Riner), Patrick and Johnny Angle, Amber Sledd, Drew Harvey, Jacob Foutz, Heather, Alaina, Cloe, Mikayla, Kobi Phoenix, (all of Shawsville); Kayli and Kristen Harrison (Florida); special friends Matt Sharlow, Preston Graves, Brandon Henry, Tyler Graham, Kenzie White, Kori Bishop, Sonny Light and many others.

Dakotah had a heart of gold. He loved and cared deeply about everyone. He was always there to help anyone through life’s problems and he has touched so many lives and will be forever missed, but never forgotten, we love you.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Warren E. Booth officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to offset expenses. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
