Boone, Kenneth Ray

Kenneth Ray Boone, 53 of Shawsville, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Quentin and Shirley Boone; and brother, Chuck Boone. He is survived by his son, Jacob Boone and companion, Lena; granddaughter, Evelynn; brothers, Daniel, Bob and Sam; and sister, Judy. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Richard Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow in the Boone Family Cemetery, Shawsville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Horne Funeral Home, 1300 N. Franklin St., Christiansburg, VA 24073, to help offset expenses.
