Booker, Kim Huffman

Kim Marie Booker was a loving wife, grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world suddenly on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at her home in Christiansburg, Virginia. Kim was born October 25,1968 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late William (Bill) Carl
Huffman Sr. and Linda Sue Huffman (Earnhardt).

She loved spending time with her family, collecting jewelry, and was an enthusiastic nurserywoman with a love for all plants.

Kim is survived by her husband Emory Booker; children and their spouses (in order by age) Lindsey Thompson, Candice Booker, Michael Thompson Jr., Shania Clinedinst and Josiah Clinedinst, Lacey Houston and Brandon Houston, Zachary Thompson (deceased), Leslie Richards and Travis Richards, Culley Thompson, and Cullice Thompson. Siblings (in order by age) William Huffman Jr., Lisa Gilleland (deceased), Douglas Huffman, Christine Votta, and Desareé Huffman. Grandchildren (in order by age) Neveah Booker, Cayden Garcia, Cullea Thompson, Veva Thompson, Jayden Richards, Naomi Booker, Keelyn Houston, Culyssa Bridges, Mason Richards, Nadelle Dowdy, Odin Houston, Camilla Thompson, and Arya Clinedinst, in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Kim’s funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Horne Funeral Service and Crematory, located at 1300 N Franklin St, Christiansburg, VA 24073. Friends and acquaintances are welcome to attend the viewing at 2:00 PM. The service will be private
