Bongard, John Andrew

John Andrew Bongard, age 76 of Draper passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008 at his home.
Born October 22, 1931 in Elgin, Ill., he was the son of the late Mathias Bongard and Hildur Holm Bongard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in his by his wife, Janice Weber Bongard in 2003.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korean Conflict.

He was a loving father and devoted family man and an avid golfer.

Sons & Daughters-in-law: Brian & Linda Bongard – Salem; John C. & Julie Bongard – Spokane, WA

Four Grandsons: Charles, Timothy, Ian and Thor Bongard,

Sister: Phyllis Atchison – San Francisco, CA.,

Brothers: Frank Bongard – Sterling, VA; Tom Bongard – San Diego, CA,

Special Friend: Vicky Evans – Draper,

There will be small family memorial service on Sunday with Rev. David Hoover officiating.
