Bogle Jr., George William

George William Bogle Jr., 90, of Pulaski, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Highland Ridge Rehab Center.

He was born May 15, 1918, at Parkersburg, W.Va., the son of the late George William and Edna Lorena Ruttencutter Bogle. He served in the United States Navy for 27 years and was a member of Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church.

He was the beloved and cherished husband of Parke Coleman Bogle, of Pulaski; one stepdaughter, Janeth B. Van den Dungen, of Pulaski; two stepsons, James D. Bogle and wife, Erma, of Bland, and John Bogle, of Katy, Texas; one stepdaughter-in-law, Sue Bogle, of Palmyra, Maine; two nieces, Nancy Bogle, of San Antonio, Texas, and Kate Gordon and husband, Steve, of Blacksburg.

Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2008, at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate with the Rev. Weston Guthrie officiating. The visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
