Bogan, Nina Margaret

Nina Margaret Bogan, 76, of Blacksburg, and originally of Big Stone Gap, VA, went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Juanita Frazier; husband, Carlye Bogan; and her sister, Helen Coomer.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Nelson and husband, Kenny; grandson, Zackary Nelson, all of Christiansburg; brothers and sisters, Laura Gibson and husband, Herbert of Radford, Charles Frazier and wife, Toby of Big Stone Gap, Tom Frazier Jr. of Kingsport, TN, Johnny Frazier and wife, Doris, and Barbara Wilson, all of Big Stone Gap; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Nina was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She belonged to the West End Baptist Church at Big Stone Gap, as well as the Red Hat Society.

The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Hall for their care of Nina.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14, 2014, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Christiansburg. The Funeral Service will be held at a later date to be announced at West End Baptist Church, Big Stone Gap with Pastor Matthew Kirkland officiating.
